We’re excited to share that all Capitol View credit cardholders will be receiving a new Capitol View Mastercard credit card in November!

With your new Classic or Gold Rewards Mastercard, you’ll enjoy:

Important Information

  • How & when your card will arrive

    • Your card should arrive in early November.
    • Your card will arrive in a white envelope with Capitol
      View’s information in the return address—don’t mistake it for junk mail!
  • Activating your new card

    • Activate and begin using your new card as soon as it arrives.
    • To activate your new card, call 1-888-691-8661. You will be required to enter information from your new card, so have it available.
    • Cards must be activated by Dec. 8, 2025. On this date, old cards will no longer work.
    • If you have any questions or problems activating your new card, please call card services at: 844-421-3411.
  • If you do not receive your new card

    If you have not received your new card by November 21, please call the credit union at (515) 348-8350.

  • Update your card information with retailers, service providers & in bill pay

    • Your new card will have a new number, new expiration date, and new 3-digit security code. Therefore, plan to update any online stores, utilities, streaming services or other places where your current card numbers are stored.
    • If your card is loaded in CVCU’s Bill Pay service, be sure to update your card information there as well.
  • How to safely destroy your old card

    Once your new card is successfully activated, safely destroy your old card using a crisscross shredder, or use scissors to cut your card into small pieces, ensuring the card numbers are not intact. Do not simply throw your card away.

     

    If you would like to bring your old card to Capitol View, we will gladly shred and dispose of it for you.

  • Setup automatic payments to your card

    Automatic payments to your credit card can be setup through MyCardInfo. Simply login to Online Banking and select “Manage Credit Cards” in the main menu.

  • Enroll in Electronic Statements

    NEW! Enroll in free electronic statements through MyCardInfo. Simply login to Online Banking and select “Manage Credit Cards” in the main menu.

  • Mailing card payments

    There is no change to mailed card payments – they  should be sent to the same address.
